Torre Serrano is a rectangular 14-storey building in Madrid, located in Calle Serrano, on which it has been made an integralrehabilitation of the facade, giving it an update for compliance with the local codes. It has also helped to increase both thermal and acoustic performance, plus a radical makeover. The facade rehabilitation works have been carried out with the building in use: a special strategy has been developed to ensure that the offices could maintain their activity while the works were executed from the outside.

The system used is a unitized system prefabricated in aluminum at workshop with a glass with structural silicone and a layer of high performance with a very low solar factor sunscreen (17%) which ensures a good performance. The glass has a silkscreen on face 1, which causes an additional aestetical vibration of the facade.

Structural pillars of the building are lined on the outside by means of anodized aluminum profiles extrusion with a textured shape.
