Description
Restoration of facade included in plan for the complete adequacy of the building to the new fire security regulations. The intervention included an addition of fire resistant upstands and a new emergency staircase as well.
The restoration was performed so that once completed, any difference was not appreciated
Facade system
Glazing system
Side hung window with thermally broken frame inserted in existing system. Double glazing with low-E was incorporated.
Shading system
Doubling of the existing vertical louvers and internal walkway, with detailing of parts of junction from new screen to existing one.
